Stickford is a small village in the east of Lincolnshire with a population of around 440, located 10 miles north of Boston and 5 miles south of Spilsby.
Stickford Local History Group was founded in 2000 by a group of local people with the aims of preserving, recording and promoting knowledge of the parish of Stickford. The group is run by a committee which organises a programme of regular monthly meetings with talks on a variety of subjects.
A quarterly newsletter is produced, with interesting articles and reports of talks; this is sent to every member of the group.
The group has many resources, including parish registers, parish council minutes and photographs. It has published four books about Stickford:-
New members are always welcome. Please check the times in our programme and come along to one of our meetings to get to know us and see what we have to offer. You can join the group by clicking here
